There is no sense in wasting valuable bandwidth on the Einsiders site by expounding on this film more than it deserves so here is the skinny: Johnny Messner stars as Burke Wyatt, an-cop sent to Cainesville Prison undercover to find out about some mysterious prisoner deaths. As it turns out, the warden has a room overlooking a fight cage and he has the prison guards to drag prisoners into the cage to fight until one of them dies. Oh, if only Michael Vick could have been a prisoner here! Being undercover, Burke doesn't even tell his wife (whom he has recently separated from) or adoring son that he is going to try to break up this murderous ring. And, of course, Burke is also a fantastic fighter (having been an ex-Marine) and can kick the ass of every prisoner he is pitted against. If you can't figure out the ending, you have never seen an extremely low-budget prison fight movie. The "acting", if you will, is on par with a Linda Blair lesbian "Caged Heat" prison film except when Mr. Keach is on screen chewing up the scenery like a celluloid termite. There is plenty of blood to keep men named "Bubba" fixated to the screen and there is even some light lesbian sex antics to keep other men glued to their sofa. But, if you are looking for a well directed, wonderfully plotted and excellently acted film, you will be sorely disappointed. The best part for me? There are no bonus features to have to achingly sit through.
